Regulation

In Switzerland, substances and behaviour leading to problems of addiction or to disease are subject to State intervention.

Control indicators are defined in the two national strategies "Prevention of Noncommunicable Diseases" and "Addiction". They describe existing legislation at the cantonal and national levels, the opinion of the population in this regard, the voluntary agreements and the violations.

The data are presented in interactive graphical form with links to the sources.
