In Switzerland noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) and addictions are a major challenge for public health. Key figures on these topics are presented on this site. Current data from reliable sources can be consulted interactively.

This site is managed by Obsan, under a mandate and with the support of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH). The presented indicators are those defined in the framework of the two national strategies 2017-2024 of the Federal Council: “Prevention of Noncommunicable Diseases (NCD-Strategy)” and “Addictions”.

The indicators are updated when new data are available. Additional indicators are in preparation.
